Join Abbey Hammell, Survey Researcher & Qualtrics Brand Administrator, and Jonathan Brown, Research and Project Management Analyst, from the University of Minnesota's University Survey and Assessment Services for a big-picture view on conducting effective surveys. This webinar is for complete beginners with no previous survey experience, but also for those who have crafted surveys before and would like a refresher on key tips and tricks! 

Attendees can expect to learn how to: 

1. Identify when a survey is the appropriate method to answer your questions of interest, regardless of context (eg. academic research, administrative research, program evaluation, etc.)
2. Develop an effective objective or research question for using surveys
3. Define your target population and where to find survey participants
4. Understand common pitfalls to avoid in survey question design, sampling, and data analysis
